This story came into existence in a moment of inspiration during the memorial service of little Solly, who passed away in the hospital a few days after he was born. I wrote and illustrated the book as a gift for his parents shortly after.

After hearing how they continue to read "Different" to their now growing family, keeping Solly's memory a part of their story, I came to realize that this book may be relevant and helpful to many more people. 

May it be an encouragement to all whose stories turn out a bit different than expected.
